Our next public Open Farm morning will be Saturday November 23, from 9am-12pm. Except for open days, visiting the farm is by appointment only. Green Star designed this half-acre stormwater wetland for Tarrant Regional Water District in Fort Worth.
Green Star is a growing company offering locally-sourced native wetland plants for use in flood control basins, conservation and mitigation projects, treatment wetlands, green infrastructure, and landscape projects. Consultations are available for wetland site planning, plant selections, and management. We provide wholesale and retail sales by appointment at our farm in Alvin TX, 30 minutes south of Houston. Green Star focuses on regionally indigenous (i.e. truly native) wetland plants. Our inventory and plant diversity is continually increasing as our company grows, with the ultimate goal of having the capacity to create a hundred acres of freshwater and estuarine wetlands at a time!
