GREEN STAR WETLAND PLANT FARM, LLC is a woman-owned business providing locally-sourced native wetland plants for use in flood control basins, conservation and mitigation projects, treatment wetlands, green infrastructure, and landscape projects. Consultations are available for wetland site planning, plant selections, and management. We provide wholesale and retail sales by appointment at our farm in Alvin TX, 30 minutes south of Houston. Founded in 2018, Green Star is rooted in over 20 years of wetland construction and landscape design experience. City of Houston WBE Certification # 23-3-15730. We’re dedicated to providing excellent, locally-sourced native wetland plant stock to restore and regenerate the beauty and function of wetlands for Texas and the Gulf Coast. We envision healthy, beautiful lands and cities revitalized by native landscapes, including wetlands of all types.

In October 2020, we made the leap from our temporary nursery in Houston’s East End to our new farm in Alvin, TX!
The farm is at 4646 County Road 181 in Alvin, TX, 77511. Our 11 acres give us the large open space we need, plus grand old oaks, a prairie pothole, coastal prairie restoration, and even a bit of old Mustang Bayou, too. Come shop our plants by appointment.
